Marathon Clothing Manufacturer – Bespoke Running Clothes

You can’t compromise on the moisture-wicking and the comfort of your marathon clothing. Make sure that your apparel manufacturers have the design team ready to meet your demands and the technical department to make the best-performing patterns and fabrics.

Without the two, you won’t be able to plug your sponsors properly nor attract the runners to wear your t-shirt instead of their own. Let’s see how you can achieve these goals with FUSH˚.

FUSH˚ – expert marathon clothing suppliers and suppliers

We have worked with thousands of marathons over the years. And after 17 years of working with so many marathons and perfecting our trade as custom clothing suppliers, it is safe to say we’re experts in the niche.  Even though we can lower our standard MOQ of 500 pieces per design for marathon wear, please keep in mind that we only work with companies that have VAT and EORI numbers.

Also, if your marathon is in Europe, you’d be happy to learn that FUSH˚ does all its manufacturing in Serbia. This means faster turnover time and significantly more reliable delivery compared to overseas suppliers.

Learn more about working with us – visit the what we do page.

Also, take a look at our sportswear page where you can find some of the running t-shirts we made so far.

On our activewear manufacturers page, you can learn more about how we make clothes for exercise.

Additionally, we have an impressive choice of fabrics. That’s because, in our factory in south-eastern Serbia, we have a total of 8 circular knitting machines with a production cadence of 2.5 tonnes of polyester fabric in a day.

Knitted to resemble a hive, this fabric is busy as a bee when it comes to moisture-wicking. All while maintaining an ltra-light weight of only 70 grams per square meter.

Our trained experts are tending to those machines. Those experts have devised a way to make ultra-light mesh fabric that’s ideal for summer marathon running. It’s half the weight of a regular running t-shirt fabric but it has the same moisture-wicking abilities. You can see the comparison in the video below. Also, you can take a virtual tour through our knitting mill.

Marathon wear is an integral part of our custom t-shirt manufacturing model.

The running t-shirts are both S size. The one made from ultra-light mesh fabric weighs only 50 grams!

When experts cooperate, magic happens

Having in-house experts has definitely helped us make better marathon clothing. But working with external experts has helped us really pick up the pace.

Such was our cooperation with the Belgrade Running Club (BRC). We made 2 sets of their official running wear clothing line. And the production process was heavily influenced by the on-field results of our samples tested by the guys from BRC. You can read more about that cooperation in this case study.

Even though it’s really great that we have worked with so many races over the years, running a business of a private label marathon clothing manufacturer has one downside to it. Not many events want to share where their clothes came from. That’s why we can showcase just a tiny portion of our portfolio.

Anyway, here are marathons that worked with us and were happy to let us share that information with the world:

  • Belgrade Marathon
  • Wizz Air Skopje Marathon

Both events have trusted us with their official gear for races in 2018 and 2019. Even though the coronavirus heavily affected marathons worldwide, Wizz Air Skopje Marathon 2020 was held and FUSH˚ made the official marathon tees.

From us, you can get bespoke marathon t-shirts (short and long-sleeve), tank tops, sports bras, skirts, shorts, marathon singlets, and leggings. There are two ways in which we can make these products for you:

  • We can offer complete solutions from our vast database
  • We can start to make your product from scratch. That’s because we are an OEM clothing manufacturer)

Chafing is not a word in the FUSH˚ dictionary, so rest assured that your marathon runners will feel comfortable wearing our running apparel. That’s because we have flatlock sewing machines that ensure your running wear has flat seams.

Just remember that you can rely on our designers to either materialize your design or provide you with their own design solutions. Therefore, production-wise, there’s no way you’ll “hit the wall” when working with us.

Ethical and sustainable clothing manufacturer

sedex member logo

Social and environmental responsibility is becoming more important in the corporate world. And they definitely should. We believe that you, as a marathon organizer, care about running your races as sustainably and ethically as possible. Otherwise, you probably wouldn’t even land on our website.

With that in mind, we are excited to report that:

  • We have the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certificate so you can sell polyester clothing with the genuine recycled origin
  • We, as a Sedex member, have successfully passed the SMETA social responsibility 4-pillar SMETA audit
  • We have the ISO 14001:2015 certificate that proves our environmental management system is organized according to the strict environmental principles of the International Organization for Standardization.
  • We pay no less than 20% above the national minimum wage to our employees
  • We pay childbirth and marriage bonuses

In addition to social end environmental responsibility, we are focused on efficiency too. That’s why we run an all-under-one-roof operation. All your customized clothes will be made in 2 factories in Serbia (south-eastern Europe) with only fabric dyeing and stabilization being outsourced.

Since we’re a GRS clothing manufacturer, for certified collection, we can only work with dyeing mills within the GRS network. As a result, you will definitely know where your marathon apparel was made and so will your runners.

As mentioned before, we make our own fabrics, so our carbon emissions are lower due to not relying on imports that much.

That should have been enough information to entice you to send us an enquiry. There’s a contact form below waiting for you to fill it in. So do it!

FAQ

Which shirt is best for running?

A t-shirt that doesn’t absorb sweat and that doesn’t chafe is best for running. There are two factors that determine that:

1. Fabric composition
2. Type of seams (how the manufacturers sew the t-shirt)

The best t-shirt for running must be either 100% polyester or 100% merino wool. It shouldn’t be cotton and it shouldn’t be regular wool.

Although it’s a natural fibre, cotton absorbs sweat and will become a heavy wet rag that drags your pace down. Regular wool won’t be soft enough and will most likely itch all over.

Polyester and merino wool both stay dry even under increased sweating because of the fibre properties of these fabrics. Also, both feel soft against the skin and are therefore perfect fabrics for running.

Finally, a t-shirt with flat seams or a seamless t-shirt would be best for running. That way, you avoid chafing as a result of itchy seams.

What makes a good running t-shirt?

1. Fabric is either 100% polyester or 100% merino wool
2. It’s a low-weight t-shirt (120 gsm or lower)
3. The t-shirt either has flat seams or no seams
4. It has mesh panels in critical areas (armpits, along the spine)

All these features ensure that the running t-shirt doesn’t distract you as you’re maintaining your race pace.
